Gillian qualified from Newcastle University in 1986 and immediately joined her father at the Avenue Parade practice. Gillian is married with two young children but continues to use her maiden name professionally to promote the fact that Avenue Parade is a family-run practice

Gerry qualified from Newcastle Dental Hospital in 1956 and, following service in the Royal Navy, took over the Avenue Parade practice in 1961. He therefore has 45 years experience of looking after the dental health of the people of Accrington and  the surrounding area.

Lorraine joined the Avenue Parade practice part-time in early 2005 and is a qualified dental hygienist and dental therapist with a graduate diploma from Leeds Dental Institute. Lorraine currently works at the practice on Mondays only.
